Streetscape Project Begins January 5
The Village of Peebles would like to inform residents and visitors that the Streetscape Project is scheduled to begin on January 5.
Sunesis Construction will be performing the construction work. While there may be some temporary inconveniences for area businesses and the public, every effort will be made to minimize disruptions so that businesses can continue to operate and thrive throughout the construction process.
We sincerely appreciate the patience and cooperation of our local businesses, residents, and visitors as we work together to complete these important infrastructure improvements. This project represents a significant investment in the future of our village, enhancing safety, accessibility, and the overall experience for everyone.

How it All Began
History
Peebles was founded in 1881 with the building of the railroad through that territory. It was named for John G. Peebles, who was instrumental in bringing the railroad to the settlement. That railroad was the Cincinnati & Eastern Railroad, today the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad (CCET).

Peebles High School is a public high school located in Peebles, Ohio. It is one of three high schools in the Adams County/Ohio Valley School District.
